Stakeholder Update - CEO announcement
Stakeholder Update - CEO announcement
I wanted to make you aware that I have accepted as position as CEO of one of the oldest and largest softwood plantations in the world, Kaingaroa Timberlands in New Zealand.
As a result, today I advised the VicForests Board that I will not be looking to renew my employment contract for a second term as VicForests CEO and will be finishing my time with VicForests after five years as CEO.
While this is a fantastic new opportunity which allows me to relocate back to NZ, closer to my home and my family, it is also with some sadness that I will be moving on from the industry in Victoria.
I am tremendously proud of what has been achieved during my time at VicForests and thank you for your support over the last five years.
More information about ongoing CEO arrangements at VicForests including the details of a recruitment process to permanently fill the role will be shared in the coming week.
I am confident our industry will continue to play the important role it does in providing a sustainable, renewable timber products.
Kind regards
Robert Green
