The planning stage of any harvesting operation is a long and detailed process that can take over a year to complete.

To ensure that we identify species or communities that may require special management and protection in an area that is available for harvesting, the Tactical Planning team and Conservation Biologist undertake a range of steps to identify and protect these plants and animals.
