Partnership and Donations
VicForests has a number of ongoing partnerships that have been developed over the years, in addition to its yearly Community Support Program.
We support local youth soccer teams and assist with a Christmas dinner for the needy each among many others. We also sponsor a range of events across the state, such as fair days, woodchops and rodeos.
In addition to this, we also make in kind donations on an ad hoc basis. Our donations are mainly bark, firewood and timber for various projects, however we have also supported local groups in other ways such as providing plants and seedlings for community gardens and schools.
Below are a list of in kind donations and partnerships, past and present.

Relationships with Local Indigenous Groups
We have developed relationships with a number of indigenous groups in the across Victoria. We have worked with the Gunai/Kurnai in East Gippsland to deliver an ‘Indigenous Cultural Awareness Program', specifically to improve our staff's skills in identifying cultural heritage sites and artefacts in the field. A similar program was run in conjunction with members of the Wurundjeri in Central Highlands for our staff in that region.
We have also supported a number of Indigneous Groups through our Community Support Program.
